Welcome! This info will help you finish getting set up, answer questions, and give you the basics of selling right away! If you haven't filled out the new consultant questionnaire you got in text, please do that first! It's fast, easy and helps your journey be fast-easy-fun:)

Step 1: Decide what payment methods you will take (you can do as many or few of these as you like:)

*Cash
*Checks-they get written to YOU
*Credit Cards (see the propay vs. square below)
*Virtual apps like venmo, cashapp
*Paypal

My recommendation is to take at least cash, checks, and cards. If you pick on more option, venmo is worth it and free to use without fees-download it in your phone's app store.

Step 2: Propay vs. Square

Propay and square are credit card processing apps/websites. They allow you the ability to charge cards and then have the funds in your bank account. Here is a run down of both, you can pick what you'd like to do!

I use propay for orders placed on my site, but I love having square at my in person appointments to just swipe their card and know it will be in my bank account 24 hours later!

How to activate your Propay account-you already have Propay, you just need to activate it (watch video for instructions if needed)

Step 3: Set up your Marykay.com shopping website!

It's fast and easy-log into www.marykayintouch.com and you'll see it on the splash page/home page with new consultant offers. It's free to sign up for it-it was included in your start!

Step 4: WHAT THE HECK DO I DO WHEN
SOMEONE WANTS TO BUY SOMETHING!?

This is the easy and fun part! A complete how to in the short video below! There is also a printable order form below in case it helps!

Customers can:
*shop/buy online on your website
*Text/call/email/tell you their order
*Buy in person from a beauty sesh/appointment
*Shop on the customer Mary Kay app
*Shop using the virtual catalog (link below) and let you know what they like

Now....How to order!!

Orders are placed on www.marykayintouch.com under the ordering tab. A couple helpful tips:

*Once you start working on an order, it automatically saves for you-YAY! to re-access the saved order, click the ordering tab>saved/unfinished/reusable orders and it should be in your shopping bag!

*If you can't find a product-you can search for it!

*Before placing your first order, many consultants consider the idea of having products on hand to give to people as they walk out the door where as others choose to order it and send it out.
